The Celtic House Coffee Shop

Open Monday – Saturday (10.00am – 4.30pm)

Homemade cakes are freshly made by our baker Gael roy on a daily basis. We have a large variety of cakes such as Carrot cake, Fruits of the Forest cake, Chocolate cake plus many more. Our delicious cakes are all made with healthy, local ingredients. Soya milk and gluten free options are always available. We will happily accommodate for any other allergies – just ask at the counter if you are unsure of anything and we will be happy to help!

All drinks are available to take-away

Classic Supremo Coffee

For all the coffee lovers out there we have a the classic supremo used in the coffee is a blend of 3 Arabica beans from Asia and the Americas. they are all roasted to a medium roast and blended to enable it to be drunk as an espresso, used confidently in a cappuccino, latte or Americano. While being very smooth it has body and remains gentle on the palette. We believe the classic supremo is an excellent and well balanced coffee in a class of its own.

What a warm welcome! entered through the shop to go up to the cafe, lovely place serving beautiful coffee and great cake. Kids got to ‘make’ their own hot chocolates, adding the marshmallows and sprinkles they fancied before a wee browse through the shop selling beautiful things. Would recommend!

Last time we were on Islay the place was great but the coffee dire. This has been rectified by the coffee shop over the Celtic House shop. With their own roast I can honestly say the coffee was wonderful. Have a black Americano – you won’t regret it. Also great staff and, as always a fascinating shop to browse

We popped in to the shop as it was blowing a gale outside and ventured up for a wee tea and coffee. We were the only ones there and found the place to have a nice atmosphere and decor. The selection of gifts to buy are good quality and well worth a wander round.
