Hailing from Argyll, Scotland, Rhuvaal are a young folk based traditional band consisting of 5 members. Originating as a School Ceilidh band in 2015, Rhuvaal have grown and developed over the past 5 years into a band full of enthusiasm to make an impression on the traditional music scene. After an overload of summer festivals in 2019, the band have spent the winter months preparing and writing material for the release of their Debut EP – ‘Horizon’.
Featuring on 4 Track EP, each of the five members – Arran McAllister, Raymond Gosling, Alex Wotherspoon, Kate MacPherson & Bronwen Davies – have created a unique and vibrant sound by adding their own musical background and style to the each of the recordings. On ‘Horizon’, the bands Debut Single – ‘The Harbour’, shows another aspect of Rhuvaal and brings a different finish to the EP.
